Machine Characteristic

  • 6 CNC axis and a floating, hydraulic axis enable the grinding and polishing of complex and modern airfoil designs
  • The interpolating axis design ensures that the contact wheel and abrasive belt are presented at 90° (perpendicular) to the blade surface and thus ensure a reproduceable and repeatable material removal
