Rigid heavy duty machine design for wet belt grinding
6 interpolating CNC high-perfomance axis plus a floating individ ually programm able pressure control. Ensure a perpendicular positioning of the contact wheel to any airfoil surface.
Machine Characteristic
- 6 CNC axis and a floating, hydraulic axis enable the grinding and polishing of complex and modern airfoil designs
- The interpolating axis design ensures that the contact wheel and abrasive belt are presented at 90° (perpendicular) to the blade surface and thus ensure a reproduceable and repeatable material removal
- Siemens Sinumerik One controller with overhead operator panel

- Robust belt drive for common abrasive belts with integrated floating axis
